Pipeline Training

Provider: Alaska Works

Places: Anchorage, Fairbanks

The annual pipeline training event held in Fairbanks is the only one if its kind in the nation. For two weeks each year, trainees learn the skills and teamwork needed to build a cross-country, large-diameter pipeline across Alaska. Training as a combined workforce, students receive quality hands-on instruction in conditions similar to those they will experience on the job.
