This course is designed to introduce the consumer to energy- and cost-saving strategies associated with residential lighting and appliances. Participants will be introduced to concepts of energy and power, how they relate to lighting and appliances, how to measure energy use, and how to minimize phantom loads. This class may be worth continuing education credits through the instructor and a fee may apply.
