This specialist course is designed to assist the participant in developing hazardous materials contingency plans or revise and update existing contingency plans. This includes developing the hazards analysis, capability assessment, information management, the planning document, coordination with other organizations and agency plans, risk communication, legislation, and exercising as a plan updating tool. Special emphasis will direct student to the “one plan” concept. Target Audience: Local Emergency Planning Committees, State Agencies, Federal Agencies, Industrial Organizations, and others identified as needing the training.
