The class will cover a variety of spinning techniques and yarn construction. Throughout the class, we will focus on: spinning different diameter yarns, experimenting with plying techniques and learning how to design the right yarn for a project. We will also spin a few different types of fibers in addition to wool (silk, alpaca, mohair blends...). By the end of the class, participants will have a nice selection of yarn samples and notes and will have the ability to spin yarns designed specifically for different uses.
