All exam applications and exam fees must be received and accepted by CBP at the following web site: https://www.pay.gov/paygov/forms/formInstance.html?agencyFormId=38464098. Tests are given twice yearly, April and October.
If the applicant achieves a passing score on the exam and wishes to apply to become a licensed customs broker they must submit the application for Custom Broker License (CBP 3124), fingerprints, a current credit report and the required license fee.
To apply for a license, an applicant must be 21 years of age, a United States citizen at the time of filing the license application and not an officer or employee of the United States Government.
